Have you ever noticed how IT departments have less than reassuring names and/or acronyms?

"MIS Information Systems" Misinformation systems?
"Department of Information and Technology Services" - DITS? - That's derogatory. Ditz means a scatterbrained or eccentric person.

Health Information Technologies - Management Information Systems. HITMIS. That must refer to project schedules.
