Having a utility to fix the problem is a good idea, but, I strongly suggest you locate the source of the curruption first. Putting bandages on the wound does not stop the source of the wound. In my experience, these kind of curruption occur do to the application being wrongfully shutdown. The user turning the computer off before shutting down the application. Using the Task Manager to end the process the application in running in. Or, a problem with the network (if the database is on a server) having problem mintaining a connection.
