I had heard that "yerba mate", very popular in Argentina and southern Bolivia, has a content of caffeine, but I didn't know that guarana had caffeine, too - they sell a carbonated drink here called "guarana", which is delicious (from The Coca Cola Company) - but I am not sure whether it is just the flavor, or whether it actually contains the fruit.
