Hi Sergey,
I am trying to resolve this situation using a launcher. In past sites, I used Doug Hennig's "StartApp" with good success. However, deploying a launcher to 300+ workstations is still quite a task so, it would appear that combining a launcher and the VFP9 runtimes would be a good user of operational department resources.
Thanks for your advice with this Sergey, its appreciated.
>Yes, the application folder is where VFP application resides. You should consider implementing launcher application which will make maintanance easier and may speed up application in general.

>>What about if the Fox EXE is launched from the server? At this site, there are some 300+ users that just have a shortcut on the desktop to an exe on the server. Therefore, there is no application exe on the local workstation. I presume the "application folder" in this context is where the exe "lives" on the local machine - if this is the case, then there is no "application" folder on any of the workstations.
