At some point you must accept that people here have got the message. If they stay in VFP, apart from the supposed imbecility there may well be other reasons of which you are unaware.
I received a private communication yesterday to the effect that a year ago, a certain guru told my correspondent's employer that VFP 10 would be the last version, no ifs or buts. He also advised this company that time was running out for those who do not move to dotNET. The company duly started a shift to dotNET, shedding VFP workforce but creating income for the advisor guru.
Which makes me wonder whether gurus are responding to market conditions or helping create them.
