Craig,
There may be a way to handle it as you suggest, but I'm not "seeing it".
The calculated key (IrKey) needs to be reflected in the child record (Ii table), but this value has not been commited until after the parent (Ir table) insert has occured. Where would I handle this? I could do it in the Save method, but would have to have some way of knowing which child records were newly added, and "relate" it/them to the newly added parent.

Where/how do you deal with this situation.
