As I've had no response, I thought I'd post this reply, hoping that someone has seen this before.

>Hi,
>
>I am involved with an application that allows users to create and customise their own forms. Each user has a licensed copy of VFP on their desktop and the command MODIFY FORM "whatever" is run when selecting the appropriate menu option.
>
>We do not want the user to mess around with the data environment, so in order to make it more difficult for them, we have created a resource file with a customised Form Designer toolbar from which we removed the Data Environment button. Prior to modifying the form we SET RESOURCE TO "our file", modify the form, then set it back to the previous resource file.
>
>This works fine on my system, but is not working on another developer's system. We have ensured they have the exact same resource file as I do and that it is the active resource file at the time of modifying the form, but the data enviironment button is on the toolbar.
>
>Is there something else that affects this?
>
>Thanks for any help,
Frank.
