Nick -

The first part is almost exactly what I did. I need to create a number of forms with the same charactertistics. But why do you say to go through the rest of the steps (select default form, go to form menu, etc, and remove formset)? What is the purpose of that?

Just create default VFP form, drag and drop your form class on it (that's where it asks you to create a formset), then select default form, go to Form menu, remove form, then remove formset. It is very fast procedure.
