It's been a couple of years since I played with that, but I don't remember having to do anything special to get it to work. The driver I used is Apple Color LW 12/660 PS, and it produced color for me (the Adobe driver was only B/W back then, not sure about now). You might want to double-check the printer driver settings to make sure it is set to print color.
