When VFP crashes, one of the options in the dialog is to debug (you can only do this if you don't send an error report to Microsoft, unfortunately). This option launches an installed systen debugger (Visual Studio.NET in my case) with the pointer sitting on the assembler statement that caused the exception, the code for ALINES in this case.
