What amazes me is that some of these products are still alive! I'm not trying to demean any other dev tool, but does anyone use any of this stuff in a production environment? When I say "use", I mean actively develop new applications.

The last time I touched Clipper was in December 1997, to update a file-munging app for the State of Alabama. It had been so long, I'd almost forgot how to link.

The Zombie List (Undead tools): DataFlex, R:Base, dBase, VO, Clipper ...anyone use any of these?

Up until very recently I still had the diskettes with 1.0 (which blew chunks), 1.1 (which was pretty stable), 1.5 (a step backwards), 2.0, and so on...I can't remember the final version. Plus I had half-a-dozen betas for the first Visual dBase. I think I finally round-filed most of that stuff. Still got V installed, tho, but the app I need it for is getting the wooden stake later this year.
