>Without extensive testing I don't know if there's a simple solution for this. It seems to be one of the cases where it is easy to play according to VFPs rules instead of trying to get around it. Why is it that you need a modal formset with several forms without a titlebar?

Well, It is because I want to provide only 1 way to do things for my users(many ways they get complicated and not many are computer literates. they do just as much told.). I make them navigate through froms using buttons eg: he can co them in sequence frm1 - 2 -3 not 1 - 3 or 3 - 1 directly. also all the forms share the same data session.

Well I might just think of disabling the 'X' and provide a button for exit. ( a Easy workaround :) )
