Several options:
(1)
wait window timeout will show a message in the upper-right corner.
(2) Show information on the StatusBar
(3) Show information on a Label or TextBox on the form itself
(4) Open a separate form to show the information
For options (2)-(4), you will probably want to use a Timer to make the message disappear after the specified time.
