I have for the most part been on management's side on this as well. I think management now has the grounds to declare an impasse and impose their own rules now. Which will be much more drastic than what their final offer to the players was. With that in mind, the players cut their own throats by not accepting an offer that was going to be way better than anything they are going to get now. They have done a very ppor job representing future players who will now be "stuck" under a more rigid bargaining agreement. For all practical purposes, I think we will see that the union has been crushed.

>As Dean points out, the price of going to a game is outrageous so I don't see anyway management can survive in the long-term without a salary cap (and revenue-sharing but they ain't discussing that).

>>Well the idiot millionaires and billionaires have successfully achieved being the first North American pro sport to cancel an entire season. They have managed to royally screw the fans. Not to mention all the arena/game workers, concessionaires working for charities and families who depend on the pitance of dollars needed to just get by in alot of cases. Selfish b@$t@rd$, all of 'em.
