i've cretad a grid class end put method codes and properties to the grid class .

< rof,l > and < lol >!!!! I am sorry, but my crystal ball appears to be malfunctioning today. The first thing that jumps into my mind is AllowCellSelection - did you set it to False? If AllowCellSelection is set to true, it is the text box that gets the keypress, not the grid.

If that is not it, you will just have to use the debugger to figure out what is going on < s >.
