I renamed the Foxuser.dbf and relaunched VFP and the debugger is now behaving in a rational manner.

Also, you are right, the Debug | Fix option only exists in the Debug Frame not in the Foxpro Frame. So I have it set for Debug Frame and I am back like I was before, so I am a happy camper.

I now have my fingers crossed to see if the debugger will stop kicking me out. In the past, about 1 out of 5 debug screens have a disabled Exit such that I have had to shut down VFP. It has been more than a little annoying, so if your solution gets me out of that problem, I will be a very, very happy camper. So after a week I will report back to let you know if the new Foxuser.dbf file has solved that problem as well.
