Mark,

I don't know how to set up active synch to copy file from PC to Pocket PC. It is probably not so difficult but I thought for simplicity to just copy the file directly. With active synch I have also the following concern. Active synch will try to synchronize the XML file on Pocket PC with the something on the PC _every_ time user puts the Pocket PC in the cradle. But we may not want to do it until they collect all the necessary information on the Pocket PC (stored in the XML file). Therefore, I would prefer (unless it is not possible) to copy the XML file on user command.

>i copy files using active synch with no problems. why do you not want to use it? i have seen apps etc that allow you send directly to ppc but one that we tried worked ok until we upgraded active synch from 1.4 to 1.5 then it stopped working so i don't know of any right now.
