I've been kinda busy! As for instancing the object, that's a no brainer, but I was hoping someone had already done something so I wouldn't have to spend time reinventing the wheel. This little app will be used to pass a map back to our cars when a lat and lon is picked up from a web service (on our server), which is tracking sex offenders who have entered an area they are not supposed to be in. I want the cars to be able to make the request from within my WASP program (they keep telling me there will be a case study NEXT month on MSDN) and display the location of the device via the map. By creating the image, I can push the image out to cars that don't have the WASP program as well as those that do. If I were only dealing with the cars that have WASP, I could just display the location via ole automation and MS MapPoint 2004, which is installed on those notebooks.
Maybe David's got some sample code.
Thanks,
John

>But I have not "driven" Snagit yet - but I do use it to capture application screens and "objects" for documentation. The autocomplete (remember when we did not have that!) should be helpful. Is a VFP service going to "write" the image to a file and then "src" it to a browser?
