Ahhhhhhhhh .... you are doing this as individual lines in the command window. That's a whole different ball game than if you did it in a program. Put those lines in a program and then execute the program and you will see the desired results. If you are trying to do them in the command window you need to copy and paste them in the command window, then highlight all the lines, then right-click and pick "execute".
