Did you ever figure out why?

I am getting the same behaviour. VFP 7. Stand alone laptop Win 2000. It seems to be when I open a second form simultaneously without at least saving the first OR that I have opened FPW 2.6a and opened the same name files, i.e. i_invent.scx is the name of the form file in VFP and FPW. I'm doing a conversion and looking at the old screens is sometimes useful.
