use yourfrx.frx
copy to newfrx.frx as 1252

First I thought of recommending the cpzero.prg (home()+"tools\cpzero\cpzero.prg"), but that only changes the header of the table; you need all of your characters converted. So copying into a new file with a different codepage would serve you better, because it would convert.

Instead of changing names (where I put "yourfrx" and "newfrx"), you can actually copy into a file with a same name, just move the old ones into a different directory, open them from there, and copy as 1252 to the original location.

back to same old
