Hello,

I have a new Win XP SP2 machine that has given me a heap of trouble. To name a few:

1) Cannot use RegSvr32 to register a dll. It gives a message that I don;t recall at the moment.

2) Conflicts between ZoneAlarm and VFP 8! It went away when I turned off ZoneAlarm. Does this mean that VFP8 was phoning home in a way that ZoneAlarm stopped yet did not report to get authorization?

3) Last one: I cannot turn machine off by clicking Start > Turn Off Computer > Turn Off, but have to use the hardware off button !!!

Does anyone know what may be wrong and how to fix? I am logged in as an administrator.
