Hi Michael,

Depends on whether you want to permanently keep this versions or not. If you just want to compare two files on your harddisk, you can just as well call SCCTEXT directly and use any of the file comparison tools. There are free ones, but I personally prefer BeyondCompare (
http://www.scootersoftware.com). On my FTP server, there's a little utility called FoxDiff that wraps around SCCTEXT and other conversion routines and can be called from BeyondCompare, WinCVS and SourceOffSite (
ftp://ftp.foxpert.com/foxdiff.zip). Another of my tools called TwoFox uses XML instead of the native format of SCCTEXT. It has the advantage of being convertible into both directions so you can also easily move code fragments from one file into the other (
ftp://ftp.foxpert.com/twofox.zip).
