Perhaps it's the only thing that will make them move in the right direction. Not only by cutting on the prices of everything surrounding hockey but also on improving the game.
Denis;
If and when the NHL plays in the future the following will occur:
1. The NHL will have lost fans.
2. Teams will jack up the price of a ticket to make up the difference. After all the players have to be paid big $$$$$!
3. Real fans (like fanatics) will gladly pay the increase in ticket price to see the NHL in action!
So the end result will be “business as usual”, with nothing having been learned from this lost season. I have faith in humanity and sports! :)
