I hope you can help me out.

I have to convert an AS400 Data file (tab delimited) into an XML file.

The problem is that the data file has over 400 columns and also has data from multiple tables in it. Data from all the tables need to be in that one output XML file. e.g. The first line is the header record then the detail records follow and finally the summary record. All the record layouts are different.

I also have XSD files for all the three record types - not sure how I could use these to generate the XML output file.

What is the best way to handle this?
