I've just moved my VFP data in to SQL server and my Win98 machines are not able to connect. I am using CursorAdapters to connect to data:

driver=sql server;server=slosql;database=svcreq;uid=uid;pwd=pwd

I am able to PING the server "slosql" from the command prompt. I am not able to create a system dsn. Every time I try to select TCP/IP instead of Named pipes, the settings seem to revert back to Named pipes. How do I specifiy TCP/IP in my CA connection string? Do I need to do this for Win98?
