Already been done. In response to Pataki's plan (see http://nyhealth.gov/nysdoh/fhplus/index.htm), and ignoring income requirements, I filed an application. My closest provider? Rochester. That's 2.5 hours driving at very illegal speeds ;-) Yep, that's the plan for me, I sez. Might as well be Thailand - the climate is much better.
