Hi Dean,

Well I wasn't commenting on US politics perse, here, but rather (intended) the loonnnngggg process of having the next election there.
As one who uses US news outlets for much of my news I've always found it cluttered too much about the NEXT election, even when it is more than 2 years away.

No, I'm not a US citizen, but with so much news about next elections I often forget.

Here in Canada a federal election or a provincial election has 30 days from being called to being OVER. We could have more than 24 elections in a single one of your "political seasons".

I have lots of opinions about lots of things. That I have lots about the US government is attributable to the fact that the US has HUGE influence for the world at large and Canada most particularly.

I think you'll find generally, (I don't think much of President Bush, but since he won last time that smirk he always had disappeared the next day and it makes him much more tolerable) that my opinions of US political decisions are favorable.

cheers
