Michel and company has done a pretty good job of making the UT Client NS friendly. It seems to be getting better all the time. I have not logged on with IE for quite a while - but I remember swapping back and forth between IE and NS - and I remember noting the difference. But with NS I get zero hi-jacks - with IE - the high jacks are still a discomfort. It almost as if by design - every time I test via IE - even localhosted - popups for toolbars and screen savers.
MS really let me down with IE - I have lost many hours of productivity cleaning up after an IE session. I should be able to tell IE - no-high-jack - no-popup - etc - but instead, I sense that microsoft feels that desktop is really their desktop.
It's such a cheap-shot for a company like MS to build a "faulty-by-default" explorer. It's my desktop, damnit!:)
