I've had a message like this once, and it was an assigment of a string longer than 255 characters to a property. I've done it programmatically while converting old FPD screens to forms; I've kept the help text in Comment field there. I've actually had to move it to the User field, because even Comment property can't exceed 255 chars.
Probably this is not the case here (I'd bet on Barbara's tip), but I've posted it here just in case.
