Thanks for answering. I agree with one thing, no database is completely zero-defect.
But once again, ask people who have used both products in production: most will agree that SQL Server is a more stable, robust, and reliable back-end data source.
Yes, data errors are handled by restoring LOG files - some (not necessarily all) of those are due to application errors, or problems caused by a human element, where the decision is made to drop back and start over.
What is the actual evidence of "disguising errors" in a "hidden architecture"? Simply because SQL Server's architecture is comparatively more "black-box" is not enough.
