Having been somewhat involved in the UT's Bug List, I can say that the answer is NO, assuming that MS stuck with the original word that they would pay no attention to it.
On the other hand, something that has slowed down (if not stopped outright) is that MS used to see reports here (not bug list) and often reply "... have sent it up the line for you. Thanks.".
Haven't seen that for a while now.
