I was in an application today withonly 1 table opened, in SHARED mode.
TABLEVALIDATE was set to 15.
I issued the following sequence of commands in the command window:

USE MyTable EXCL
ZAP (confirmed desire to zap)
USE
USE MyTable
* ERROR "Table has become corrupted...." (2091 I *think*)

How to explain that????????????

I should mention that this sequence was run on the Server itself, which has a SCSI 5-drive RAID 5 array. It did have "Synchronous transfers" enabled and I did DISable that prior to running the commands, for what that's worth (no re-boot).

Been having trouble with tables in the application, basically ever since swtching to TABLEVALIDATE TO 15 from 0. This latest occurrence leads me to suspect something other than data problems.

Comments?... please
