Seriously, what you have here as basic services is A LOT and no one is forced to register. It's your choice. Other advanced items, like the search, are part of the Premiere Universal Thread Membership. We have to fix a boundary between what is free and what is not.

You can look at it in another way: if there is no Premiere Universal Thread Membership then there is no Universal Thread. What's your choice?
