Thanks Tracy. After advice from a UT member (probably a few) I've realises that the fault lies in my LH CTRL key. It's bushed!

>Have you tried PowerToysXP TweakUI ? Also, you should verify the driver being used for your keyboard under its properties in the device manager just to make sure it wasn't changed. You can always reinstall it.
