>For a while I have been getting a regular virus delivery from 80.98.93.174. The email had a bogus email address listed. I pursued the email at first and discovered that the owner of the addy was a VFP programmer in California. This suggests that a VFP user list has be compromised someplace in the world. I used
www.dnsstuff.com and found that the IP is listed as being in Hungary The ISP contact information is not available. If an email gets past your anti-virus app and has 80.98.93.174 in the header, delete it.

The virus might have gotten the e-mails right here, from the Universal Thread.
Also, note that the origin of the e-mail is suspect - modern viruses tend to fake the return address.

You are absolutely right. My point is that the IP is consistently 80.98.93.174 and secondly, the contact information is deliberately removed. So, if an email gets past your anti-virus app and has 80.98.93.174 in the header, delete it.
