Even I agree that SQL Server is *more* reliable. But here you are throwing the baby out with the bathwater... because of an error in TABLEVALIDATE execution effects you draw a conclusion that (effectively) assumes that SQL Server suffers *NO* internal errors that can cause data problems. Sounds somewhat extreme to me.
