Tom,

I think I've found some parellels between how presidents are viewed. For example:

Clinton, was in the Naval Reserves back in the 1960's. There's some question as to whether or not he fullfiled his commitment. He's a draft dodger.

Bush, was in the Air National Guard. There's some question as to whether or not he fulfilled his commitment. He's a patriot.

Clinton had the Whitewater scandal, that was investigated for five years prior to his taking office. So he's a bad guy.

Bush sold stock in an oil company shortly before it went bankrupt. The records are sealed so it can't be investigated. So, he's a good guy.

Clinton admitted he smoked marijuana. He's a drug user. So he's a bad guy.

Bush was arrested for for DUI and may have used cocaine. So he's a good guy.

Clinton presided over the longest period of prosper in the history of the country. So he's a bad guy.

Bush presided over a recession that ran more than 2 years over the average. So he's a good guy.

I'll admit to being dense here. Can you tell me what I missing?
George
