Yes, I agree we should update to MSComctlLib.Slider.2 but I still do not understand why comctl32.ocx did not work until MS office is installed.

>You're using old version of the Slider control. The newer one is MSComctlLib.Slider.2 in MSCOMCtl.ocx.
