It seems that Microsoft doesn't have any plans to port to other operating systems.
Recital seems to be some sort of FoxPro, not VFP, clone. I think they have plans for a VFP clone - better check their homepage for up-to-date information.
Some people managed to run VFP on Linux, using WINE. The licensing is doubtful - you might need a license of VFP for each user.
