Can I make SUMMARY default within rpt. DESIGNER?

Hi Jim :)

Well designed class for outputing reports might be the answer here.
Class should be backed up by some tables - sort of report preferences
holding data particular to each report.
So in that preferences for that particular report should be written 'SUMMARY'
and then class should execute report accordingly.

BTW it wld hv been good idea for FRX to be 'extended' this way
to hold some 'preference' info within itself. It is damn table and could hv been extended to hold whatever info is needed for report execution.
Instead of that we got to deal with various clauses of 'report form' command.
This is in my opinion, design flaw going more then decade back :)

But now is new 'era' :)
VFP9 is here (or out there) so we will hv to provide for that as well...
Maybe is right time to rewrite reporting class from scratch :)
