Sorry, then I misunderstood you. The only part of the lines I wrote which affects the billno, is the line "Replace billno... ", maybe you must change it to "replace billno with val(right (thisform.text1.Value,4))+1, datein with date()"? This will replace billno with the value of thisform.text1 plus one. I don't have the time to study your program thoroughly.
