And forget my doubts about the code changes. As FKs are changed within the loop (cascading update) the SEEK() will find the next record and not stay on one record causing an endless loop. It's kind of a tricky scan loop that way, it could also be put in a while loop, which may make it even clearer, but it works, if you were doing cascading updates...
