Cecil, go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer management.
Go to Shared Folders->Shares
Right Click on Folder that contains Your FP files Choose Share Permissions & see if the users or User Group has Full Control over that folder. I thing your Ingeneer does not give appropriate rights over this folder.
