I realized this when I was watching the first and second seasons of 24 on DVD. Each episode was 40 minutes from start to finish commercial free.

>>>I guess all I had to do was think about it to make something happen. I decided to check the mail function on cable last night. As of 3/1 WB goes HD. Do they have anything worth watching?
>>>
>>>The power of thought ....:)
>>>
>>>I don't know - I have over 300 Digital and about 12 or so HD - and still I can't find anything worth watching! Sometimes Discovery HD and INHD put on some good stuff. The NASA channel has some good stuff - but it's not HD yet!
>>>
>>>I have not been able to really enjoy TV since august - except early in the morning when those all-nighters have me to wired to crash!:)
>>>
>>>I think the HD channels use the bandwidth from 2 or more digital channels - just a guess.
>>>
>>>Is WB warner brothers?

>>300 channels. Wow. Did you ever change channels only to end on one commercial after another commercial. Is'nt this the saddest thing?
>>
>>Over here the organism in charge of regulating TV just gave the permission to go from 12 minutes to 14 minutes of commercials per hour.
>>
>>Hmmm getting closer and closer to 50% commercial time <vbg>
>
>I was told by a TV Network guy that a station is allowed up to 20 minutes per hour of commercials. The commercials would not bother me so much if they were not the same 10 commercial all the time. ;-)
