Thanks again. As I'm obviously new to client server, I'd been wondering whether to go with one shared connection per application, one per form, or one for each individual cursoradapter. I dimly recall going the individual route after receiving some "connection is busy" errors when testing the use of only one connection. Guess I'll go back and again try that again - if I can get it to work I agree it would be preferrable to maintaining multiple ones.
