ok here's where I stand. if the combo box is bound to something it will work when space is hit, etc...

but with the combo box that I have in question, it is not bound, it is filled by value x,y,z in rowsource, etc...

in this case when it receives focus I need to actually click the down arrow to get it to popup :( any ideas?

anyone?
