>I am using command buttons on a form for an ePOS system . I would like to be able to put in shortcuts so someone can use a letter or a Function key to select the command buttons on the screen via the keyboard. Any idea's ?

For the caption on your command buttons, put a \< before the letter of your choice. Then the user just has to ALT + that letter to "click" that button. For example, a button with the caption = "E \ < xit" [remove the spaces first] will have an underline beneath the "x" so the keyboard combination of ALT+x will be the same as clicking that button. Setting the Default property of a button to .T. will enable the hitting of the ENTER key the same as clicking that button. Setting the Cancel property of a button to .T. makes the ESCape key the same as clicking that button.
