Dear All,

I need some directions, thinking a lot... the following is what I intend to do...

RUN "Main.EXE" --> Check FTP server for a difference of "Main.EXE" in date of publish --> If yes --> mark for updater.prg to firing up --> After user quit the main.exe, fire up updater.prg --> download new "main.exe", then replace it with the new one

1. What is the way to mark there is a update? A free table?

2. Updater.prg (Is it enough to just exclude from the project, to avoid any error? especially main.exe is being replaced.

3. Main.exe is complied from project's main.prg, where READ EVENTS issued... can I run the updater.prg after read events, so that updater.prg is fired when user is quiting...

Of course, I'm awared that there are some examples on the download sections, however, they look very complicated for my uses...

Thanks in advance!
Best regards,

Aaron Chu
