>Hit CNN where it hurts! Tell them you will boycott all products sold by CNN advertising and will write to each advertiser to tell them what action you have taken and why.
That's interesting.
I probably would if anyone compiled a list of the advertisers along with addresses and email addresses. We could pass it around the blogs.
Lacking that I won't. I don't have enough interest in any 24-hour news network to go to such lengths.
Besides, any news source that owns a 24-hour news channel is a joke to me. Right from the get-go they are on a mission to sell news, even when there is none. So how credible can they really be?
If anyone has a guess as to why the 24-hour news network has become such a popular format despite being completely contrary to the notion of supplying relevant and concise information on current events, that would be an interesting topic for discussion.
I suppose it is the same reason why reality TV is so much more popular than scripted TV drama. Real people doing real things connects better, (which is ironic because, Michael Jackson as an example, the real people and the real things they do are totally bizarre). Other thoughts?
